Your media never leaves your device

All processing runs locally with Apple's AVFoundation, and we run no servers and no analytics. The free version on iPhone and iPad shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some advertising data — Pro removes them, and the Mac version has no ads at all. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

About ringtone installation

We think it is worth being upfront about this.

iOS does not allow any third-party app to set your system ringtone automatically — that final step is always yours. Ringtone Maker creates a proper ringtone file and hands it to iOS for you: on iOS 26 and later you tap Share and choose “Use as Ringtone”, and on iOS 17–18 we guide you through the short GarageBand export. It takes about a minute. On a Mac, the app saves the ringtone file and shows you how to copy it to your iPhone through the Finder.
